Goldie's Loughan

Goldie's Loughan is a quality, small family run country bed & breakfast set in a 160 year old, extended traditional Manx Cottage. It has all the charm age brings inside and out. The extension, housing our guest rooms, has been designed to merge with the original dwelling and sits comfortably in the Manx countryside.

A warm welcome awaits you at Goldie's Loughan. There are two ensuite bedrooms beautifully furnished in period style with TV and tea / coffee making facilities. On a cold winter's night you can relax in the guest's lounge with its log burning stove. In the summer months you will can great pleasure in the lovely cottage garden. At breakfast time you can feast upon delicious home cooking. Idyllic countryside makes Goldie's Loughan the perfect place for walkers, artists', animal lovers and birdwatchers or anyone seeking a peaceful break in beautiful surroundings. The cottage is close to the beach and the Jurby Airfield, where motorsport events are held regularly.

Jurby is situated in the North of the Island approximately 6 miles from the nearest town of Ramsey. Douglas, the island's capital, is just 30 minutes drive away over the scenic Mountain Road. For those holidaying without a car, the bus passes the house hourly during the day. For those bringing a car there is substantial parking available.

Eating out is easy with the adjotning villages of Andreas and Sulby having 3 country inns between them, all offering good quality, affordable meals. Alternatively you could visit Ramsey which has many eating houses including Indian, Chinese, Bistro's and Tapas to mention a few. There is something to suit whatever your taste.
